As a guest speaker at STEPS functions and on TV commercials, Leigh is an open and honest advocate, always ready to promote the benefits of employing people with disability.

Gilbert Care is a provider of quality community services to the aged. Established in Brisbane in 1998 and the Sunshine Coast in 2002, the key to Gilbert Care's continued success is their excellent, caring staff.
The professional relationship between STEPS Employment and Gilbert Care continues to go from strength to strength. "Our best staff team ever" is how management of Gilbert Care view their human resources, and attribute much of this success to working closely with STEPS Employment. On most occasions STEPS has the right person for the right job whenever Gilbert Care has a staff vacancy. Such is the relationship STEPS is a key component in Gilbert Care's future plans.

The founders of The Coffee Club wanted to create more than just a place to meet and have coffee. They wanted to provide a relaxed meeting place that is casual yet sophisticated. The Coffee Club at Mooloolaba, with ocean frontage, is all that.
Through providing opportunities in school-based traineeships and employment, store Managers, Rob and Sara Gillam, have given many people with disabilities a taste of one of the key industries on the Sunshine Coast - hospitality.
