Circumstances may arise that necessitate a Participant exiting the STEPS Employment programme.
You may decide you no longer want to remain on the STEPS programme. Eligibility to exit the programme will depend on your participation requirements
The reasons you may choose to exit may include:
- you no longer require assistance from the STEPS Programme;
- you find employment independently and no longer require assistance,
- you become an independent worker after 6 months and do not require support;
- you become an independent worker after 6 months and require intermittent support only;
- you do not return from an Allowable Break within 18 months of the start of an Allowable Break;
- if you are a Non-Activity Tested participant and no longer wish to remain on the Programme;
- you are unable to continue in employment because of medical reasons or reasons related to your disability;
- you can no longer participate in the Programme from an Outlet because you have moved away from the area.
